Summerhall Arts Spaces: Free Space Opportunity
Summerhall Arts Spaces offers performative artists of all experience levels the opportunity to develop ideas, experiment with form and explore new directions in a supportive environment. Over the course of a year, we will offer 20 weeks of paid space and 30 weeks of free space, advertised in instalments.
This application form is for our Free Space, which includes:
- A dedicated creative space in the Anatomy Lecture Theatre for up to 5 days
- If Tech Cube Zero is a more suitable space for your work, you may request to use it instead of the Anatomy Lecture Theatre. Decisions will be made based on availability.
- Venue specifications available on request.
This opportunity is ideal for those at the very early stages of exploration, needing room to test ideas without formal deadlines or structure.
📌 Space will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
Additional Information
- No tech support is provided as part of this residency.
- Artists must sign an agreement acknowledging our code of conduct, which includes taking care of the space.
Our Free Space is offered year-round, with applications released in instalments.
