Feeling You explores the relationship between visual arts, performance and dance. The exhibition focuses on directly affecting the movements of visitors. The installations invite engagement in a series of private actions that explore movement, perception, and the nuances of self in space.
Feeling You is a series of somatic puzzles which playfully explore physical presence. The installation draws from Fleur’s choreographic principles, which serve as the foundation for a range of prompts that encourage the spectator toward an expanded consciousness of the body as it moves through space.
Through these experiences, the visitor is invited to observe and expand their perception of their own presence, moving into spaces where aspects of the self that are habitually overlooked can come alive. Some prompts are playful, while others inspire introspection and personal reflection, creating a varied and multi-faceted encounter.
Feeling You is a space-sensitive invitation to move and reflect in spontaneous and open-ended ways. Visitors collaborate with these considered framings as agents of their own change and intimacy.
Every visitor has a timed ticket and can enter the exhibition alone or in chosen company.
Feeling You by Fleur and Henri is the debut collaborative exhibition of Fleur Darkin and Henri Meadows.
